"This message is regarding our 8U tournament on Friday. According to the National Weather Service out of LaCrosse, we are projected to be in a 107 degree Heat Index throughout the day. Safety is obviously becoming a concern. We have decided to cancel our 6U tournament and begin our 8U tournament at 8:00 a.m. with games being played in left field and right field.

Please be smart. Inform your parents, players, coaches, etc. not to put themselves at risk if they feel they are incapable of playing.

I have sent an updated schedule of the games. Alma, C-FC, Wabasha, and Independence will all be playing at 8:00 a.m. The hope is for the tournament to conclude by noon. In addition, we also are going to adjust all the games to 45 minutes OR 3 innings of play. "
